People you dislike have been let go. How to feel?

Never joy when anyone loses their livelihood. Yet these are inept: individuals who've failed at company after company, taking good people down with them. And they're vain: they rationalize their failures as "politics". At least one of these people is financially corrupt; another is downright stupid.

Turning point in life, maybe, for some. Forced now to get a job, and keep it, without intervention from their angel patron. Will it be a learning experience? Or more of the same?
