she burned me once with a lit cigarette
it was in a bowling alley with a group of adults
she was drunk and waved her hand while she spoke
i said "you're going to burn me with that!"
she rolled her eyes with a grownup's impatience for childhood fears and said "no I won't"
but she did
she caught me on the cheek
waving her hand drunk
