September 25, 2003:

The author performs an impersonation of himself at the local Comedy Club.

Stands with outstretched arms in crucified position. Makes a gesture with his right hand: painfully hammers a single thick nail into the left. Makes a gesture with his head: painfully hammers a single thick nail into the right. Looks down at his nailed feet. Looks up at the heavens, in pain. Hangs straight and stiff. Looks up at the audience with a pained and sincere impression, singing,

Love me tender,
Love me true,
All my dreams fulfilled.
For my darling,
I love yooooooooo,
And I
Alll-ways
Wiiiiiiiillllllllll.

Thank ya baby.
