It's different now. I think, all the young people would know what to do.
My guess would be Internet porn. The information is available, fetishes are well understood, but more crucially adolescents are taught by PornHub how they're supposed to behave. So that threesomes, toys, bisexual females, bondage and dominance are all well-understood, likely before anyone's first actual kiss. The girls grow up seeing attraction to girls as perfectly ordinary, and there's really not a lot of thought put into it.
You can see the many problems with that.
The pornography they're experiencing is entirely male-centric, where lesbianism and female bisexuality are presented as turn-ons, perhaps even necessary turn-ons, for the boys.
Or maybe not.
Many of the younger girls I know simply love girls. Perhaps the ubiquity of pornographic bisexuality presented lesbianism to them as something as lowkey as fellatio or any other ordinary activity, so that they found experimenting easy, and discovered the beauty and the joy of female flesh.
Or maybe that's pure projection.
I don't know.
I suppose I should just enjoy the outcome but it's not my style to underthink things.
