Her gratitude for hot showers.

In her time on the streets the assistance that mattered most to her was use of the public showers which the County makes available.

Her description of how filthy they often were. People would be sick in them, have diarrhea, shoot up, clog the drains with vomit or food or bits of ragged clothing.

"If I were rich I'd donate showers to the County; and pay for staff to keep them clean."
