In Junior High I kept a record one year of when I did and did not go to school.
Every week I was absent at least once. About every other week, twice. Most weeks I was late by an hour or more at least twice. The other days I was nearly always late by some minutes. I was present on-time usually about once a month.
Children are powerless. Evasion is their only option.
