Can a Game Be Literature?

Mark's Pages

June 10, 2005. Hong Kong.

In Shenzhen for business for two weeks, including two weekends in Hong Kong. Out walking every day, but this was the first clear day with happy light.

Hong Kong of course is one of the world's most strikingly beautiful cities, with its hills and skyscrapers and the always-lovely sea. This time of year finds it at its most semi-tropical, which is to say, humid as all fuck. I lost five pounds in two days of city hikes, camera in hand. In different weather I might have made it farther up the mountainside.

Note that I've applied some very slight digital color enhancement to these images to make them very slightly more vibrant. The city itself is just a hair more gray than these shots imply.
