"Dolphins in the wild will travel from twenty to thirty miles in a
day, diving as deep as one thousand feet. Compare that to dolphins in
captivity, who may in the best of circumstances enjoy an enclosure thirty feet
long and twenty feet deep. Please think about this the next time you experience
an exhibition of trained, captive dolphins. While their bodies may indeed be
beautiful, the circumstances, I suggest, are not."
