Cute, but, I think, another of her habitual lies. She chose him because she believed he would provide her with a quick and easy entrée into the world she wanted to inhabit. In return she provided him with sex.

She told me around that time, "You're too nice for rock and roll." These three paragraphs each say the same thing.
