Takes a hard-boiled egg from the pan, cracks it, throws the shells on the floor, then the egg, where it joins a half a bag of chicken strips, a can of coffee grounds, a container's worth of takeout Chicken Masala, a pan of fried hamburger, a puddle of club soda, a puddle of vodka, a puddle of wine, sharp fragments of broken wine glass, two or three broken plates, all thrown there deliberately, smeared and streaked and intermingled with her own blood and vomit, contributed inadvertently over the course of the evening.
