The hotel serves breakfast, a caféteria-line of toast, eggs, ham, and juice.
There are always plenty of eggs and toast. But the ham is typically empty.
A heavyset middle aged man with a heavyset teenaged daughter complains to the staff. Yes sir, more to come.
The men today look like truckers, burly with baseball caps. The women look like beauticians. Everyone seems confused.
Maybe they all slept as poorly as me.
