Back streets. The least taxing bicycle route was Mason --> Jackson --> Presidio --> Trias --> Ft. Stockton --> Goldfinch --> University --> Park to Roosevelt Middle School, where we'd chain our bikes to a sturdy fence and climb over into the Zoo. For a free day with the animals.

I drove it today without thinking. Muscle memory.
