Stones, cold as trumpets.

Fuchsia, pointing down. Leafy green branch, pointing down. Black dress, color of mourning. Gray landscape, dead rocks.

Hard face, like the rocks. Picasso described her as "decisive" and "clear". I'll call her "cold", like the landscape she mirrors.
