The students move between classrooms inside laundry carts. Square, wire mesh, with an overhead bar for clothes on hangers. They roll through the hallways face down, like swimmers.
It's confusing when people change desks. You go back to where you were, and the faces aren't familiar.
It's some time before you realize you've been robbed.
