Johnny Aisle Seat can't hold still. He's gray-haired, liver-spotted, dad-bellied, and seemingly nervous. Jostling the seat row nonstop, while our author reels from the wrath of grapes.
The flight attendant is tall, tawny, black-haired, a mixture of hispanic and asian features. She wears her uniform skin tight, so tight that you can tell for certain she's not wearing kevlar. Smiles, chats, flirty in a thickly compelling Cuban accent. Later in the terminal I wait for her as she writes her number on a discarded boarding pass, smiling.
Passengers in the row behind are extremely concerned re the future of Guam. Very concerned. Topic of nonstop conversation for over an hour.
