Only toward the end had she begun to open up. By that time I'd determined it wasn't safe, and broke it off.
For one thing their stories conflict.
She says she was abused. With the passion and the fear in the her voice, I believe it.
Her girlfriend says she was an abuser. I've never heard her voice, and, the way her accounts are relayed to me sound suspicious.
I think, she sounds like a jilted ex-bestie out for comeuppance. But I can't know.
I can only say, I would like to have known her better.
