Ghosting.
It's how the girls end things. Just stop replying, or block the dude altogether. It's easier than goodbyes.
I dunno. Easier for whom?
To me it feels lazy. And hurtful. And rude.
You could say, "Hey it's been fun but I'm taking off now. Wishing you the best!" Or something that in one way or another communicates a decisive goodbye.
Generational cultural shift. I guess.
I won't do that. Even though, yah, the conversation can be difficult.
