She was outraged when her uncle remarried.
Probably in her mind she was expressing loyalty to her aunt who'd died. But she showed no understanding and certainly no sympathy for the loneliness he must have felt.
That was her life, encapsulated.
Product of abuse: both physically and emotionally isolated, locked in closets. Because she grew up without companionship she expected others to do the same. She was a kind person but she lacked this fundamental human empathy for others. The root of so many of her well-intentioned yet destructive decisions.
