November 7, 2019:
I prided myself for decades over my affection for my exes.
Romances fail but friendships are forever.
With therapy and bupropion that seems so smug. New life skills, a more mature understanding of codependency. Eventually I could see how manipulative certain of these partners were while I committed myself to permanent loyalty.
Committed. Permanent. With the lack of compromise I learned early from The Lord of the Rings.
