And then my truest friend. Gabby the Kitty, little island of love, little six pound life raft. Someone who loved me, and shared her affection for me all those couch nights after my now-ex-fiancée went dark. Snuggles and purrs, warm kitty fur. My mother's kitty. I don't think I've ever loved or needed any friend half as much.
