December 11, 2019:
She doesn't want me to meet her girlfriend. "She's blonde," she says. "All the guys go nuts for her and I'm sick of it."
She underestimates us both.
I'm not so much loyal as ferocious. I'm not going to go gooey over her girlfriend, especially knowing it would upset her.
But she underestimates herself even more. She's the beauty of the bunch. Eyes turn to her in the room, not her shiny girlfriend. She has that charisma people can't not watch. Both men and women sneak glances, just to experience her movements.
She also hasn't fully fathomed the role someone else plays in my life. My heart is already full. Ironically with another dark-haired beauty who's also jealous of blondes.
