December 27, 2021:

Fatigue. Intend a short nap to recharge, sleep seven hours.

Stairs are awkward. Obviously, the need for handrails while descending. Perhaps surprisingly, the greater risk is in the other direction. Some stairs are designed with overhangs, which can easily catch the toes if failing to maintain strict focus. You pitch awkwardly forward where, worst case on concrete staircases, you land with two broken kneecaps. Unclear what purpose is served by this awkward design, or if it's purely intended to be aesthetic. I find it unattractive.

So many broken toes over the years. Look directly at an object, say the couch leg. Confident of going around it, instead slam it full force. I don't wear shoes in the house, which may become a decision to reconsider. Stepping over objects is especially fraught. Frequently the heights at foot level simply fail to compute.

It's all manageable, although depression becomes an obstacle.

This is not intended as complaint. Just thinking out loud. In this case, taking survey of the current world.
