I can't promise that.
I can be clumsy. I'll make mistakes. I can act with inadequate information. I can be so wrapped up in my own shit that I can't see. I'll have low blood sugar moments. I'm a human being and I'm fallible and I'm nontrivially broken. This is how we are.
I can promise that when I do hurt you I'll be sorry.
I'll never hurt you on purpose. I'll never deliberately try to make you feel bad about yourself. I'll never behave vindictively when you accidentally hurt me.
If ever anyone promises any more than this they're seriously lacking self-understanding.
