Yen Ching on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard is gone.
The Bacchanal on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard is gone.
Spaceway is gone.
The Strand is gone and The Ken is gone and The Unicorn is gone.
Consuelo's is gone. Margarita's is a diner.
Martha Farnum Elementary on Cass is gone but good riddance.
Mister Frosty on Garnet at Haines remains.
The snack shop catacorner from the Natural History Museum remains.
Poma Delicatessen on Niagara remains.
The Black remains.
Everyone from childhood is dead.
Two friends from early adulthood remain.
