I was not here when they built the Amazon fulfillment center.
Nor the cell phone towers, the strip malls, the roadside attractions, the billboards and the highway patrol stations.
They do seem to have had the decency to bury the electrical transmission wires. Here in Fire Country. that much seems to be qualitative as opposed to merely quantitative progress.
