Assignment, grammar school, third or fourth grade. Why? To what purpose? With what intended outcome? No idea.
Use a clicking counter to keep a running total. So that it becomes a hobby with a goal: reach 100,000.
The buzz of a big score! Semi's parked at a warehouse.
But: the downside. Was I counting the same truck again and again, encountered on city streets? How could I know?
This would all be so much more difficult today. How would you classify an SUV?, for one thing. How would you watch the road?, for another, granted nowadays you're the one driving.
