This collection groups workbook pieces — short prose fiction, poems, vignettes and microfiction — on the themes of work, workplaces, and workplace relationships.

The pieces are discrete. There's no inner structure or implied narrative. These aren't frames from a film.

I think of this work as analogous to Cubism. The Cubists implied three dimensional objects by juxtaposing multiple two-dimensional planes depicting the object from different points of view. These pieces are those planes; the object is work. "Blogging as Cubism" explains.
