I miss him. I want nothing to do with her. Unfortunately they come as a set.
Or maybe they don't.
Although he posts frequently on social media, he no longer mentions her. He talks about rock 'n' roll, political stupidity, food. It's been some time since he last discussed his wife. Even his posted selfies are solo — no longer couple snaps as they were years ago.
Meanwhile her social media presence advertises her married name followed by her maiden name, a striking reversal of the typical order.
Are they separated? For his sake one hopes so. She's perhaps life's greatest nightmare. The girlfriend who sends her boyfriend to prison for a crime he did not commit, from fear that if she doesn't it'll be her instead.
